Well this may be difficult for some of you without knowing how to define culture.
What is culture?
One definition is: culture is an onion that as you peel reveals different meanings that knit people, communities, and cities together. Culture is shared meanings. If I extend my hand to you the first time we meet, you may recognize it as a sign of friendliness and my desire to know you. This is common in America but may not be so in other places, like France. However, in France this practice is not always used. In France, when we meet someone for the first time we give them a kiss on each cheek lightly. We call it the bise. However, we do not do this on interviews :)
